Sherri has a natural talent for creating meaningful connections, whether in the community, within groups or between couples. Officiating weddings is a natural extension of that knack, and she considers it an honor to unite two people. Her background in communications helps her create a ceremony that reflects each couple’s unique bond and commitment.
 

From incorporating rituals or special passages, to simply finding the right words, her creativity can help guide each couple in creating a ceremony that’s truly special. Sherri appreciates all walks of life and performs unions and renewals regardless of gender, ethnicity or faith.

As an officiant, her style is warm and personable, and she’s a firm believer in being able to laugh at yourself.

She holds a B.A. in Communications from East Carolina University and is also an accomplished journalist, photographer, and broadcast and event announcer. When not performing wedding ceremonies, Sherri enjoys live music, travelling with her husband Matt, spontaneously dancing in the kitchen and taking a yoga class or two.
